(II) Properties: Zinc stearate is white or yellowish powder, insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, able to absorb water in the air, and decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding zinc salt when encountering strong acid.

(III) Uses: Zinc stearate is used as stabilizer for PVC resin processing, softening lubricant for rubber products, polishing agent for textiles, leveling agent for paints and raw materials for cosmetics.
