(I) Molecular formula：Pb[CH₃(CH₂)₁₆C00]₂

(II) Properties: White powder, insoluble in water, soluble in hot ethanol, benzene and turpentine, heated and dissolved in organic solvent and cooled into gelatinous matter, decomposed into stearic acid and corresponding salt when encountering strong acid, and hygroscopic.

(III) Uses: As one of the stabilizers for PVC, it has good lubricity and photothermal stability. It can be widely used with other lead salts. It can also be used as drier and flatting agent for paint and thickener for lubricating grease, such as PVC pipes, pipe fittings, special-shaped pipes, hard plates and shoe materials, and can be used to manufacture various opaque or translucent soft and hard PVC products.
